About Me

My name is Amanda. I am a mother and wife in Ventura County. I am originally from LA (Highland Park and East LA) and now reside here in Thousand Oaks.

I have been doing Doula work for 10 years. I have completed Doula training with Two Doulas Birth Education (Ran by midwife Hayley Oakes),  Emilee Saldaya of Free Birth Society and Erica Chidi  founder of LOOM and author of NURTURE Book. I have done Rebozo training and doula classes at  Bini Birth and GraceFull Birth with renowned Midwife Elizabeth Bachner.

I have also had 1 unmedicated birth at Del Mar Birth Center, 1 Homebirth during Covid times! All these experiences made me fall in love with birth and the process. I breastfeed for a total of 6 years and I am working on getting CLC Certified.

I have also lost 5 pregnancies to miscarriage. And I can be a support in these times as well.

As a doula, I bring a light-hearted and uplifting energy to every birth journey. With a perfect blend of humor and heartfelt support, I help parents feel at ease in the most transformative moments of their lives. Grounded in both education and deep wisdom, I honor the divine essence of motherhood and stand in awe of the miracle of life. My approach is nurturing, empowering, and filled with warmth, creating a safe and sacred space for families to thrive.

I am a spiritual Christian and this may or may not be a part of my service to you. If you are interested in a faith based birth, we can add prayer, worship music and Bible lead birth affirmations to your plan.
