 This Welcome Packet explains everything you receive through Kaiser’s Doula Program PLUS the additional care, tools, and personal touches I provide to make your birth and postpartum experience supported, grounded, and memorable.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE AS MY CLIENT

🌿 1. Free Consultation

A no-pressure first meeting (FaceTime, Zoom, in-person, or phone) to:

Get to know each other, Learn about your birth vision, Ensure we are a great match

🌸 2. Support from Date of Hire

You will have access to me via: text, phone, and email for general questions, reassurance, and support throughout your pregnancy. I respond as promptly as possible during reasonable hours, and during your on-call window (5 days before your due date through 5 days after), I am available 24/7

🕯️ 3. 24/7 On-Call Availability Around Your Due Date

From five days before to five days after your due date, I am officially on call for you — day and night.

📚 4. Access to My Free Library

A curated collection of : Pregnancy & birth books, Parenting books, Reiki + energetic healing resources, Vaccine education books. These are available to borrow at no cost.

💗 5. Laminated Tools for Birth & Parenting

You will receive: Laminated birth affirmations, Laminated labor tips & comfort measures, Laminated newborn + parenting tips. These are yours to keep.

🎓 6. Birth Education

You will receive my PDF Birth Education Class covering: Labor stages, Common interventions, Pain management, Comfort measures, Partner roles, Advocacy & communication

🕯️ 7. Sacred Birth Space Setup

During labor and birth I bring items to create the calming environment you desire:Flameless candles, Essential oils, Music setup,Massage tools, Peanut ball, Birth position tools,Comfort supplies
My goal is to help make your birth feel grounded, supported, and safe.

👩⚕️ 8. At-Birth Support

I provide physical, emotional, and informational support throughout your labor and delivery.
As permitted by hospital policy, I support you:In triage, In labor & delivery, During cesarean birth (if allowed), During immediate postpartum bonding

🎁 9. Nursing Team Thank-You Bags

I bring small gift bags filled with cute essentials for the nursing staff — a beautiful way to set the tone of gratitude and partnership.

🤱 10. Breastfeeding Guidance

At birth and during postpartum visits, I assist with: Latch support, Positioning, Troubleshooting early challenges, Breastfeeding confidence

🌿 11. Herbal & Comfort Add-Ons (Optional)

Upon request, I can provide:

Herbal sitz bath, Epsom salts, Essential-oil nap session with meditative music, Newborn care assistance, Home care support
(These are comfort-based and NOT medical services.)

🌼 WHAT KAISER COVERS FOR YOU

(Combined with my care offerings)

Kaiser full package

✔ 1 Initial Visit (up to 90 minutes)

✔ Up to 8 Prenatal/Postpartum Visits (60 minutes each)

✔ Labor & Birth Support

✔ Up to Two Extended Postpartum Visits (3 hours; billed in 15-min increments)

All visits must occur while your Kaiser coverage is active.

❌ SERVICES NOT COVERED BY KAISER

• Clinical tasks (BP checks, fetal heart tones, vaginal exams),Medical advice, Childbirth education class beyond materials provided, Placenta encapsulation, Massage therapy, Aromatherapy supplies, Belly binding, Yoga or movement sessions, Photography, Home birth attendance, Babywearing classes
